Davies banned again Bradford defender Andrew Davies will start his second suspension of the month in the home clash with Cheltenham. Davies, signed on loan from Stoke at the end of September, returned to the side following a three-game ban in last week's goalless draw at Swindon but was shown a straight red card early in the second half and will now sit out another four matches. Marcel Seip will switch from right-back to central defence alongside Luke Oliver and Liam Moore will step up from the substitutes' bench in Davies' absence. Another defender, Robbie Threlfall, remains sidelined with the thigh strain that has kept him out of the previous three matches, so Luke O'Brien will continue, but Jamie Devitt could return to the squad. Winger Devitt, on loan from Hull, missed out at Swindon due to a hamstring strain. Midfielders David Syers and Lee Bullock (both knee) and defender Simon Ramsden (hip and calf) remain long-term absentees. Striker James Spencer returns from suspension for Cheltenham. Spencer, who has been in fine form in front of goal of late, missed the 2-1 victory over Plymouth last weekend as he was serving a one-match ban, having collected five bookings. Robins boss Mark Yates is in the luxurious position of having no injury or suspension worries ahead of the fixture. Yates told the club's official website how spoilt he is for choice on the playing front, saying: "I have got players in my squad that can't even get into the team that are fully capable. "It's unfortunate that we are down to five substitutes because with seven I would have loved to give people a bigger part in what we are trying to do."
