Match Preview
High-flying Tottenham Hotspur face a tricky trip to the north west to face Gary Megson's Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
Harry Redknapp's in-form outfit will fancy their chances against the Trotters after picking up 15 points from a possible 21 so far this term. Only defeats against Manchester United and Chelsea have blotted their excellent start to the campaign.
Bolton on the the other hand sit in 13th place on seven points and are without a win at their Reebok Stadium home.
Spurs striker Robbie Keane blasted four past the hapless Burnley last weekend as his side demolished Owen Coyle's beleaguered troops 5-0 and he, alongside fellow striker Jermain Defoe, will be looking to be amongst the goals yet again.
The White Hart Lane outfit sit poised in fourth place behind leaders Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Bolton should take heart from their scrappy 2-1 win at Birmingham City last time out and Megson will know the importance of home wins if his side are to avoid a relegation dogfight.
The visitors have injury concerns ahead of the clash with Defoe (wrist) and fellow striker Roman Pavlyuchenko (calf) causing Redknapp to sweat and he is definitely without Giovani Dos Santos (ankle), Jonathan Woodgate (groin), Ledley King (hamstring) and Luka Modric (broken leg).
Joey O'Brien and Sean Davis are both on the sidelines with knee injuries and boss Megson has no other injury problems.
In the corresponding fixture last season the Trotters edged out the Londoners 3-2 in a thrilling clash.
Sebastien Puygrenier opened the scoring on his debut for Bolton before Kevin Davies doubled the hosts' advantage midway through the second half to seemingly kill off the contest.
Darren Bent had other ideas however and hit a quickfire double to level matters, before Davies intervened with just three minutes remaining to secure all three points.

Match Report
Vedran Corluka's late equaliser helped Spurs to snatch a welcome point away to on-song Bolton Wanderers.
The Croatian defender netted with 17 minutes to go as Harry Redknapp's side stretched their recent unbeaten run to three games.
And it's now 12 goals in their last three outings for Spurs as they weathered a barrage of pressure on the visit to the Reebok Stadium.
But Redknapp knew before kick-off his side faced a tough test against a side had gone four games unbeaten in the Premier League.
Ricardo Gardener gave the hosts a welcome fourth minute lead with a sweet strike, only for another Croatian, Niko Kranjcar, to bag his first goal of the season to level matters in the 34th minute.
But Kevin Davies looked to have secured maximum points for Gary Megson's side when he headed the Trotters back into the lead in the 69th minute.
However, just four minutes later defender Corluka pounced to spare the visitors blushes and made sure honours were even at the final whistle.
And it was Spurs who had the better chances in the last quarter of the came as they nearly came away from their trip to Lancashire with full points.
Megson's men had the perfect start when Chung-Yong Lee delivered a delightful cross for Gardner and the midfielder fired into the root of the net.
Tamir Cohen then went close to doubling the home side's advantage, but his right-foot shot was straight at visiting keeper Carlo Cudicini.
Gardner tried his luck from 30 yards midway through the half, but his effort flew well wide.
Kranjcar then had a shot blocked at the other end after a solid saving tackle from Zat Knight.
But in the 34th minute Kranjcar rifled a right-foot shot into the bottom left-hand corner after a lovely pass from Peter Crouch.
Cohen had a shot over the bar as the hosts looked to restore their lead, before in the second half Davies forced a smart stop from Cudicini.
Crouch fired wide close to the hour mark and Jermaine Jenas wasted a good chance, before Davies headed Cohen's cross beyond Cudicini to make it 2-1.
However, Corluka popped up four minutes to restore parity once again and the Spurs pushed hard for a winner.
Matthew Taylor had a shot tipped round the post by Cudicini, while moments earlier Crouch had a header saved by Jussi Jaaskelainen.
Crouch also forced a good save from the keeper in the last minute of the game, but both sides had to settle for a point each.
