Hello and welcome to the Reebok Stadium where Bolton Wanderers and Hull City will be competing to take themselves out of the drop zone. Hull are without a win in five but Bolton will be confident that they can continue their three game unbeaten run.
Match Preview
Hull City boss Phil Brown will take his Hull City side to Bolton Wanderers with both desperately needing points to haul them away from the foot of the Premier League table.
Brown spent a successful period at Reebok Stadium under former boss Sam Allardyce before embarking on his own managerial career and he will go to the Lancashire club looking to further better his memories of the club.
November was a positive month for Brown's men as they briefly eased their relegation fears.
They picked up eight points from a possible 12, but they have found December tougher going and are back in the thick of it.
Their bad run of form has coincided with the injury of influential midfielder Jimmy Bullard and he will remain on the sidelines with the knee injury he suffered early in the 3-0 defeat at Aston Villa on December 5.
Long-term casualty Ian Ashbee will be out until the end of the season after tearing his posterior cruciate ligament.
A win for Bolton is a must if they are to give themselves some breathing space going into the new year.
Gary Megson's home record is poor and a game against the Tigers should be winnable for his men.
The Trotters are still without the services of Mustapha Riga (hamstring), Gavin McCann (ankle), Sean Davis (cruciate ligament) and Joey O'Brien (knee) for the clash.
Megson will be happy that Croatia forward Ivan Klasnic has started scoring for the club following his year-long loan switch from French club Nantes at the end of August.
His recent form has kept the club record signing Johan Elmander out of the starting line-up - much to the Swede's frustration - as Megosn opts for Klasnic and captain Kevin Davies..

Match Report
Stephen Hunt struck twice to seal a stunning comeback for Hull City and heap more pressure on Bolton Wanderers manager Gary Megson.
Wanderers looked to be cruising after they took a 2-0 lead with goals either side of half-time from Ivan Klasnic and Kevin Davies.
But Hunt pulled one back on 71 minutes before grabbing a dramatic equaliser with 12 minutes left to increase the pressure on under-fire Megson.
Phil Brown's side, without a win in five but buoyed by a spirited performance in a 3-1 defeat against Manchester United two days earlier, started the brighter.
But they fell behind on 20 minutes when they failed to deal with Zat Knight's long ball forward and Klasnic gave Boaz Myhill no chance when he rifled home his sixth goal in nine games.
Andy Dawson looked to respond immediately and his free-kick was heading for the top corner until Jussi Jaaskelainen punched clear.
The Wanderers goalkeeper was badly at fault moments later when he flapped at Bernard Mendy's cross, but Gary Cahill came to his rescue as he deflected Hunt's goalbound header behind for a corner.
Hull should have been level on the hour mark, but an unmarked Kamil Zayatte missed a superb opportunity when he headed wide from Hunt's corner.
And Davies made the Tigers pay less than 60 seconds later when he beat Myhill to Paul Robinson's chipped free-kick to head into an empty net.
Myhill made amends for his error with a fine save from Cahill and Hunt handed Hull a lifeline when he outjumped the home defence to head home Craig Fagan's inviting cross.
And the Irishman struck again on 78 minutes when he squeezed home Mendy's long ball from the tightest of angles, to beat Robinson's despairing goal-line clearance and earn Hull an unlikely point.
