Hello and welcome to Ewood Park where Blackburn Rovers, unbeaten under Allardyce, come up against a Bolton side who have lost four in a row in the Premier League.
Match Preview
Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce comes face to face with another of his former clubs when Bolton Wanderers are the visitors to Ewood Park.
Last time out in the Premier League, Rovers boosted their survival hopes with a comprehensive 3-0 home win over Newcastle United, before being held to a goalless draw in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Sunderland at the weekend.
The arrival of Allardyce has coincided with South Africa international Benni McCarthy's return to top form, with the striker having scored six goals in his last seven games.
He had previously fallen out of favour under Paul Ince, but is now making up for the lack of form and fitness shown by Roque Santa Cruz, who continues to be linked with a move to Manchester City.
Allardyce has yet to taste defeat in his six games since taking over at Ewood Park and hopes to have Jason Roberts, Matt Derbyshire, David Dunn and Andre Ooijer all available again after injury.
Rovers have also conceded just one goal in those six games, with winger Morten Gamst Pedersen saying: "We have been doing well. The defenders have been amazing and they are working really hard.
"Paul Robinson has had hardly anything to do in the last few games, but we have to keep that level if we are to get out of the position we are in."
Gary Megson's Bolton squad should be ready and rested for the local derby, having enjoyed a weekend off after being knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round by Sunderland.
The Trotters needed a break after losing six of their last seven league games to drop back into relegation danger, while they have also failed to find the net in their last four league outings.
However, the fixture list has conspired against Megson's side, who have played all of the so-called top four, as well as Aston Villa, in recent weeks.
However, defender JLloyd Samuel warned: "We can't just sit back and say because we have played the big four, that's it.
"Anyone can beat anyone, so if we take any game too easy then we will get absolutely nothing. That starts with Blackburn."

Match Report
Benni McCarthy grabbed a late equaliser as Blackburn Rovers fought back from two goals down to claim a vital point against Lancashire rivals Bolton Wanderers.
The South Africa international, who had earlier missed a penalty, pounced to score his ninth goal of the season three minutes from the end of this pulsating derby.
In fairness that was the least Rovers deserved after a courageous second-half fightback, and Sam Allardyce's side might even have snatched an unlikely victory right at the death when Ryan Nelsen's header rebounded off the base of the post with Jussi Jaaskelainen stranded.
After a scrappy start, the game burst into life when Bolton drew first blood in the 15th minute courtesy of Matthew Taylor.
On-loan striker Ariza Makukula got in behind the home defence on the right-hand side of the area and his low cross-shot flashed across the face of goal towards the far post, where Taylor was lurking to apply the finish.
That was Wanderers' first goal in 462 minutes of top-flight action and Taylor's sixth of the season in all competitions.
Things got even better for Wanderers 20 minutes later when former Rovers striker Kevin Davies doubled the visitors' advantage.
This time Gretar Steinsson delivered a low cross from the right and, although Davies' initial shot was brilliantly saved by Paul Robinson, the Bolton striker reacted quickly to slam in the rebound from four yards out.
In contrast, Rovers offered precious little going forward and their only real chance of note in the opening 45 minutes was a speculative half-volley from Keith Andrews that flew narrowly wide on the stroke of half-time.
Desperate to inject more urgency into his side, Allardyce threw on Roque Santa Cruz and Tugay early in the second half and Rovers suddenly looked far more dangerous as a result.
Stephen Warnock halved the deficit in the 66th minute when he latched onto an exquisite throughball from McCarthy before steering a rising drive past Jaaskelainen.
Then, four minutes later, Rovers were awarded a penalty when Jaaskelainen flattened Santa Cruz in the area, but the Finn promptly atoned for his error by diving to his right to save McCarthy's spot-kick.
In the closing stages Rovers bombarded the visitors' box in search of an equaliser and it finally arrived in the 87th minute, McCarthy slamming the ball home from close range following good work by Chris Samba and Jason Roberts.
