Kazim-Richards worry for Rovers Colin Kazim-Richards is an injury doubt as Blackburn prepare to host Leicester. The on-loan Galatasaray forward has enjoyed a superb start to life at Ewood Park scoring in both of Rovers' opening npower Championship matches against Ipswich and Hull. But after netting the winner against the Tigers on Wednesday night, Kazim-Richards hobbled of with a knee complaint that boss Steve Kean later revealed makes him a doubt to face Nigel Pearson's side. Summer signing Leon Best (knee) is a long-term injury victim and if Kazim-Richards was to miss out, Kean's options in attack would be reduced to David Goodwillie, veteran ex-Portugal international Nuno Gomes and his rookie countryman Edinho. Ruben Rochina could provide an alternative from attacking midfield after recovering from a hamstring injury. Marcus Olsson and Fabio Nunes were two of Rovers' better performers after being handed starts against Hull and are expected to retain their places. Leicester have no new problems. Defenders Zak Whitbread and Sean St. Ledger, along with midfielder Richie Wellens and striker Marko Futacs, have all yet to feature this season and will remain on the sidelines. Whitbread is still lacking fitness following his free transfer from Norwich while fellow summer signing Futacs has been nursing a knee problem. St. Ledger and Wellens are also recovering from knee injuries. Manager Nigel Pearson has said that wholesale changes are not necessary following the defeat at newly-promoted Charlton on Tuesday. However, should he wish to freshen things up at Ewood Park, the Foxes boss has midfielders Neil Danns, Andy King and Anthony Knockaert and strikers Martyn Waghorn, Jeff Schlupp and David Nugent available to come into the team. King may have put himself in the frame for a start following goals from the bench in each of the last two games against Peterborough and Charlton.
