Match Preview

Berwick without duo Goalkeeper Ian McAldon and defenders Jamie Ewart and Guy Kerr have been ruled out of Berwick's clash with Queen's Park. Midfielder Stuart Callaghan is also out but manager Jimmy Crease has brought Steven Thomson in on loan from Stenhousemuir. Crease is looking for his men to end a run of four successive draws in the league. He said: "It is good that we have remained unbeaten this season, however we need to start picking up three points from games as opposed to just one as it can have a huge impact when the league is as tight as it is." "Queen's Park will be hurting after losing to Bo'ness and so we have to be on our guard." Queen's Park goalkeeper Adam Strain looks set to return to the squad after injury for the trip to Berwick. Midfielder Paul Harkins is also added to the squad but Giuseppe Capuano drops out through injury and Jack Henry is unavailable through work commitments. The Spiders are looking to bounce back from last week's defeat by Bo'ness in the Scottish Cup. Hampden head coach Gardner Speirs said: "Everyone is looking to put last week's disappointment behind them and get going again. "Three points from this game gets us back into the pack of clubs that are chasing a play-off place and that is our aim. "We have not picked up enough points on the road and this would be a great game to do that in."
