Match Preview
No go for Rowe Barrow winger Danny Rowe will miss his side's FA Cup first round replay against Guiseley after breaking his toe. Former Stockport midfielder Rowe sustained the injury in Saturday's home league defeat to Lincoln and is expected to be replaced in the side by Sean McConville. McConville joined Blue Square Bet Premier side Barrow in September on a two-month contract, which is due to expire after the Guiseley clash, so the 23-year-old will be hoping to impress to earn an extension to that short-term deal. Tom Anderson is available again after missing out at the weekend through a one-game ban and manager Dave Bayliss must decide whether to recall him or stick with Tom Aldred at the heart of defence. Striker Adam Boyes, who scored agaginst Guiseley in the 2-2 draw between the two sides at Nethermoor in the original tie, is expected to return to the starting line-up. Guiseley manager Steve Kittrick has virtually a full strength squad to choose from for his side's FA Cup first-round replay at Barrow. But Kittrick faces several selection dilemmas after resting several players for Saturday's 7-0 FA Trophy win over Whitby, in which several others staked their claim for a place in the FA Cup line-up. Jamie Clarke, who returned to the side against Whitby, was outstanding at right-back and could retain his place, while striker James Walshaw looks set to lead the line following his hat-trick at the weekend. Andy McWilliams is Kittrick's only injury doubt due to an ankle injury, but the defender will still travel with the squad and could have a late fitness test. Kittrick's side, currently in third place in the Blue Square Bet North table, let slip a two-goal lead in the original tie.
