Southam set for Bees return Caretaker boss Paul Fairclough will have Glen Southam back in the ranks as Barnet tackle Wycombe. The midfielder returns after completing a two-match ban for collecting 10 bookings. Striker Steve Kabba will miss out after picking up a hamstring injury which could rule him out for a few weeks. Defender Anwar Uddin is doubtful after hobbling off in the second half against Rotherham on Saturday with an ankle knock. On-loan Crystal Palace left-back Matty Parsons made his debut against the Millers and, after impressing, should retain his place ahead of Jordan Parkes. Fellow loanee Mark Byrne is pushing for a start after he resumed his second spell at the club this season by appearing as a substitute on Saturday. Wycombe captain Gareth Ainsworth could return. The 37-year-old has been an inspiration this season but was rested for the 2-2 draw with Aldershot at the weekend after a punishing schedule of games. However, he could feature at Underhill as the Chairboys look for a return to winning ways. Centre-back Dave Winfield will miss out as he completes a three-match ban following his part in the mass brawl at Macclesfield so Leon Johnson could continue after his recall at the weekend. On-loan Watford defender Rob Kiernan is undergoing intensive treatment on a hip injury but left-back Andy Sandell is still sidelined with a knee problem that is expected to keep him out for a minimum of six weeks.

Wanderers sting Bees Chris Westwood`s first goal of the season was enough to see high-flying Wycombe scrape past struggling Barnet 1-0 at Underhill. The journeyman defender headed the only goal in first-half stoppage time as the Chairboys returned to winning ways for the first time in three matches. Rossi Jarvis made a bad night worse for the Bees in the final minute when he was sent off for a second bookable offence. The home side began brightly when Clovis Kamdjo's header was smartly knocked onto the bar by goalkeeper Nikki Bull and captain Joe Devera's follow-up header also hit the woodwork. But the Chairboys finally came into the game with Matt Bloomfield firing their first effort over and the breakthrough arrived in first-half injury time when Westwood was left unmarked to head in Bloomfield 's corner from five yards. The Bees showed plenty of intent after the break and almost equalised after 49minutes when Izale McLeod chased down Stuart Lewis' poor backpass but fired straight at Bull. Ben Strevens should have made the game safe six minutes from time when he headed Bloomfield's corner onto the bar. And the Bees frustrations boiled over in the dying seconds when Jarvis was sent off after clattering into Westwood.
