New Bees boss looks to sting leaders Sam Walker and Jude Stirling are in line to make their debuts in Martin Allen's first game back in charge of Barnet against leaders Chesterfield. Allen, who last managed Barnet in the Conference in 2004, was reappointed on Wednesday and moved quickly to bring in reinforcements on loan. Rookie Chelsea goalkeeper Walker is set to start as first-choice Jake Cole tore a medial ligament in training and his deputy, Liam O'Brien, has a fractured finger. MK Dons defender Stirling could also be pitched straight into the starting line-up as Crystal Palace loanee Matthew Parsons is suspended following his red card at Aldershot in midweek. Defender Anwar Uddin (ankle) and striker Steve Kabba (hamstring) are not expected to be fit. Table-topping Chesterfield will have Kieran Djalili among their ranks for the clash. The 20-year-old midfielder has extended his loan from Crystal Palace until the end of the season and will be another option for manager John Sheridan. Long-term injury concerns Simon Ford (calf) and Aaron Downes (cruciate) remain sidelined and will not travel to Underhill. Jack Lester bagged a hat-trick against Rotherham last week and could make a rare away start as the Spireites look to secure promotion as soon as possible. Defender Ian Breckin will be in contention for a place on the bench after recovering from the illness that had sidelined him since late February. Midfielder Dwayne Mattis made a late appearance in the 5-0 rout of Rotherham following a calf injury and play a more important role at the weekend.

Last-gasp Deering denies Spireites Substitute Sam Deering struck twice as Barnet fought back from two goals down to claim an unlikely 2-2 draw against runaway leaders Chesterfield. Deering levelled matters in bizarre fashion in the third minute of added time when his attempted cross eluded Spirites' goalkeeper Tommy Lee and nestled in the bottom corner. Chesterfield took the lead in the 21st minute when Dean Smalley was on hand to tap in after Craig Davies' effort had been well-saved by Barnet goalkeeper Sam Walker. Dean Morgan should have doubled their advantage when he was put clear by Davies' flick-on, but he could only slide his shot wide of the far post. Davies' first-time effort from the edge of the area 27 seconds into the second half flew past Walker and into the top corner to make it 2-0 to the visitors. But Barnet were back in business soon after when substitute Deering dispossessed Dean Holden before unleashing an unstoppable rising drive from 25 yards. Barnet continued to press and were extraordinarily rewarded at the death when Deering's cross from the right somehow went in. end
