Match Preview
Taylor set for Bees bow Barnet manager Mark Stimson could hand a debut to new recruit Charlie Taylor when his side host Cheltenham. Stimson dipped into the non-league market this week to boost his strikeforce by signing Taylor from Sutton United. The 24-year-old, who has been training with the Bees for the past fortnight, arrives at Underhill for an undisclosed fee. "He brings us something different to what we have," said Stimson. "He's a striker who plays off the shoulder and I am looking forward to working with him." Bees striker Steve Kabba could feature after returning to full training barely three weeks after fearing he had broken his leg. The much-travelled 29-year-old was stretchered out of Barnet's opening-day defeat at Chesterfield but suffered only ligament damage. Cheltenham will remain without defender Martin Riley. Robins boss Mark Yates had hoped Riley would of overcome a minor hamstring tear for the trip to Underhill but revealed the 21-year-old will remain sidelined for a further three weeks. Yates told the club's official website: "Martin Riley won't be available for the weekend but he is progressing well. (Sports therapist) Ian Weston and I were convinced he would be okay but it didn't prove to be. "He'll go through an intensive couple of weeks and hopefully we'll see him back in three weeks time." Portsmouth midfielder Marlon Pack will be pushing to make his debut after joining on loan for the rest of the season on transfer deadline day. Fellow loanee Shaun Jeffers is expected to offer a threat from the bench again following international duty with England Under-19s, having come off the bench to score the winner against Burton last weekend.

Match Report
Walsh off the mark in Bees win Phil Walsh scored twice as Barnet came from behind to beat Cheltenham 3-1 at Underhill and earn their first win of the season. Cheltenham got off to a flying start when Frankie Artus thumped home a spectacular left-footed free-kick from 30 yards after just 65 seconds. That seemed to spark Barnet into life and they went close to levelling four minutes later when Steve Kabba powered through the Robins defence to pull back for Mark Marshall, but his effort was blocked. But the Bees got their goal after 12 minutes as Marshall combined with Ricky Holmes on the left to provide a far post cross for on-loan Dagenham striker Walsh, who headed home his first Barnet goal from close range. He should have had another straight after the interval but just failed to connect with Holmes's teasing low cross from the right. Walsh eventually grabbed his second in the 65th minute when he glanced a fizzing Holmes corner beyond visiting keeper Scott Brown. And Marshall sealed the win with 10 minutes to go after being played in by Kabba and nipping round Brown to slot home.
