Bees face Borrowdale wait Barnet look set to be without Gary Borrowdale when they host fellow strugglers Bristol Rovers. The defender's initial loan spell from QPR expired after Friday night's trip to Crawley and although a new deal is on the table, the paperwork has not yet been signed. On-loan Southampton youngster Jack Saville is likely to be asked to fill in at left-back unless Borrowdale's contract situation is settled in time. Fellow defender Daniel Leach is still nursing a tendon injury and striker Steve Kabba is a long-term casualty with a knee problem. But boss Lawrie Sanchez has no new injury worries and will not make too many changes after an encouraging display in the narrow 1-0 defeat by the league leaders. Bristol Rovers boss Paul Buckle is likely to make changes. Buckle made three second-half substitutions during the 5-2 defeat against Crewe on Saturday and is likely to stamp down his authority by freshening up his starting line-up. Goalkeeper Lance Cronin replaced Scott Bevan between the sticks after the latter conceded four first-half goals and may start at Underhill, while fellow substitutes Scott McGleish, who netted the second against Steve Davis' side, and Lee Brown could be handed starting places. Striker Matt Harrold's 11th goal of the season is likely to cement his place in the side, while fellow forward Mustapha Carayol created plenty of openings on his return from suspension. Defender Adam Virgo (knee ligament damage) and midfielder Wayne Brown (ankle) are both long-term absentees.

Bees pile pain on Buckle In-form Barnet frontman Izale McLeod helped heap more pressure on under-fire Bristol Rovers boss Paul Buckle by notching his 19th of the season to seal a 2-0 win. McLeod - the only player to score for the Bees since their November 19 clash with Rovers - popped up in the 69th minute to open the scoring. Clovis Kamdjo's late strike settled the game to earn Barnet their first win in seven games and leave Buckle's future in further doubt. After Barnet duo Ricky Holmes and McLeod put half-chances wide in the early stages visiting defender Cian Bolger was inches away from converting a Mustapha Carayol corner. Rovers defender Lee Sawyer brought a good save from Dean Brill in the 44th minute and moments later new arrival Aaron Downes headed over a Carayol corner with the home keeper floundering. But the first-half promise from the visitors turned to despair after the break. First McLeod out-paced the Rovers backline to latch onto Michael Hector's long clearance and lob Michael Poke. The result was put beyond doubt when Kamdjo - teed up expertly by Holmes - side-footed home the second.
