Cesc Fabregas drops to the bench for Arsenal as he has not fully recovered from a virus, and Abou Diaby has been decalred fit so he comes in for the Spaniard. Freddie Ljunberg has also recovered from injury and does start the game.

Ledley King and Robbie Keane have recovered from injury and are both included in the starting line-up, although Paul Stalteri is still out.
