Duo back for leaders Table-toppers Arbroath welcome back Kevin McMullan from suspension and Allan McManus from injury as they face bottom side Clyde for the second time in four days. But captain Stuart Malcolm and midfielder Darran Thomson remain out with knocks and Ross Chisholm is serving the last of his two-game ban as the Gayfield men look to extend their lead to seven points. Despite a 3-0 success at the weekend boss Paul Sheerin is wary of the Bully Wee. He said: "Playing back-to-back games against the same opposition is never easy either and we have had a recent experience of that with Elgin. "We beat them in midweek and then they beat us just a few days later, so you cannot take anything for granted." Clyde captain Ross McMillan looks set to be missing from the heart of his side's defence. McMillan has a medial ligament injury so Alan Lithgow is in line to replace him. Top scorer Marc McCusker is struggling with a groin injury and Paul McMullan is still sidelined with Bully Wee boss Jim Duffy looking for an improvement following Saturday's defeat. Duffy said: "I cannot complain about the work rate of my players but we have to be better with our final ball. "Arbroath were better than us and deserved their win although an early goal for us when we had a bit of pressure may have changed things. Our job is to close the gap between their performance on Saturday and ours."

Red Lichties close in on title Arbroath saw off Clyde for the second time in four days, triumphing 2-0 over the bottom club to move within touching distance of automatic promotion from the Scottish Third Division. The leaders registered a 3-0 victory away from home on Saturday and followed that up at Gayfield to claim back-to-back scalps, which means they could potentially seal top spot on Saturday should they see off Queen`s Park and other results go their way. Although Arbroath`s promotion now looks likely in any case should it not be clinched this weekend, with the high-flying club seven points clear of second-placed Annan with only 12 left to play for. Clyde, meanwhile, remain at the foot of the standings, six points adrift of East Stirling but still with a game in hand. The home side took the lead in the 25th minute when Steven Doris connected with Gavin Swankie`s cross from the right to convert from 12 yards. Swankie then made it 2-0 himself just before half-time, receiving a pass from Paul Sheerin before finding the top corner from the edge of the penalty area. Kieran McAnespie missed the chance to add a third after the break, wasting two close-range headers.
