Injury woe for Annan
Annan manager Harry Cairney could be without five key players for the visit of Stranraer.
Defenders Aaron Muirhead and John Macbeth missed training this week because of knocks, along with midfielder Chris Jardine and strikers David Cox and Mike Jack.
All five are rated as doubtful participants, while Steven Lawless has returned to parent club Motherwell, forcing Cairney to recall Jack Steele from his loan spell at Dalbeattie Star.
Cairney said: "A win in this game would see us win the first three and create a record for the club and whatever side we put out that has to be our aim.
"Stranraer are a very good side going forward so we need to blunt their threat in that area."
Unbeaten Stranraer travel to Annan with boss Keith Knox having the luxury of a fully-fit and suspension-free squad to choose from.
"This will be a tough game as Annan are a hard team to play against," said Knox. "They have added experience to their squad this season with Andy Aitken at the back and Ian Harty up front."
The Blues boss praised the character of his side for coming back in their last two games to pick up four points.
He added: "We have been behind three times in recent weeks and came back for a draw and a win and that says a lot about the boys."
Annan hit back for share of spoils
