Sloan return boosts Annan
Annan will look to keep chasing leaders Peterhead by seeing off Stirling Albion at Galabank and Steven Sloan returns from a back injury to help out.
Matty Flynn remains out with a groin injury, while an ankle problem keeps Chris Jardine on the sidelines.
Manager Jim Chapman is philosophical about his side's title chances. He said: "Winning would be great but it does not guarantee that we will close the gap on Peterhead. What it does do is take us very close to securing a play-off place. That would be a good afternoon's work."
"Stirling will want to close the gap we have on them so it will be a tough game."
Stirling striker Sandy Cunningham misses out on 'doctor's orders' after he suffered concussion in last Saturday's game with Montrose.
David Weatherston looks set to start in his place, while Ross Forsyth is also available after a knock. Brian Allison is now the only other absentee from the Forthbank pool.
Manager Greig McDonald said: "Annan are on a very good run and we would like to bring that to an end by winning. We have control of a play-off place and the best way to keep control of it is by winning games.
"We are the underdogs in this game but we will enjoy that."
