Brydson aims to enhance Annan job prospects Annan interim manager Euan Brydson will take charge of the Galabank side against Montrose just three days after being interviewed for the post on a permanent basis. Brydson will look to see off the Gable Endies without Jack Steele (chest infection) and Graeme Ramage (knee), with long-term absentee Graeme Bell also missing out. Brydson said: "Our level of performances during my time in charge has been good and I am looking for that to continue against a Montrose side who are on a decent run towards the play-offs. "We are on not too bad a run ourselves and a win would pull us closer to the pack chasing a promotion place behind Rangers." Montrose will be without Scott Morton for the clash. Morton injured his back recently in a car crash and is joined on the sidelines by Paul Lunan, who has an ankle fracture. Gable Endies manager Stuart Garden is looking for his side to hit the same heights they did when they won 1-0 at Peterhead last Saturday. He said: "Some of our play at Balmoor was superb and it would be great to repeat that at Annan but show a more ruthless streak in front of goal. "Annan have been under a decent run, especially at home, so this will be a very hard game but one we go into with confidence."
