Alloa aim to break Berwick duck Scottish Third Division leaders Alloa list midfielder Stevie Masteron as their only doubt for the visit of Berwick due to a knee injury. The Borderers are the only side that the Wasps have not defeated yet this season. Manager Paul Hartley said: "We have been ahead in both our games against them but not seen the games out and I am sure that will be warning enough to our players. "They have good players, particularly up front, so we need to play well again. "We have gone 15 games without defeat and are in a good position but that is all that we have done. Nothing has been secured or won so far, and we have to give every game our full attention and every opponent our full respect." Berwick are missing midfield pair Kevin McDonald and Lee Currie through suspension as they look to pick up their first win in seven games. The Borderers welcome back Chris McLeod and Ross Gray after injury and new signings Stephen Tulloch and John Ferguson are included, as is youngster Ben Miller, with manager Ian Little convinced his team can pull of a surprise. Little said: "We have good players and when we play well we are a good team, so this is a game we can look forward to. "We have done well against Alloa this season. They are a good side but there is no reason why we should not be looking to take something from it."

Gray day for Alloa Damon Gray's penalty ended Alloa's 15-match unbeaten run as Berwick earned a surprise 1-0 win at Recreation Park. The hosts had won seven straight league games coming into the fixture and looked the likeliest to opening the scoring, Ryan McCord crashing a right-foot volley against the crossbar from the edge of the area six minutes before the break. But it was Ian Little's side who broke the deadlock after 59 minutes when Gray was fouled by Ben Gordon inside the area. He stepped up to place the ball in the back of the net - his seventh goal of the season. Berwick midfielder Steven Notman was dismissed for a second bookable offence seven minutes from time but the Borderers were able to hold out to secure their first win in seven games.
