Dillon waits on Little
Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon will monitor winger Glen Little`s fitness before naming his side to face Chesterfield.
Little, 35, struggles to play two games a week and played 70 minutes of the 1-0 FA Cup win over Brentford in midweek.
Wade Small will certainly start against his former club after the diminutive forward made it three goals in four games with the winner against the Bees.
Captain Anthony Charles is likely to be on the sidelines for another fortnight as he battles to shake off a hamstring injury so Aaron Morris will continue to deputise at centre-half.
Midfielder John Halls - just back from a lengthy suspension - has picked up another groin injury and will miss out.
League leaders Chesterfield will be without Derek Niven for the trip.
The midfielder was controversially sent off as the Spireites lost their unbeaten league record at the b2net Stadium to Burton last weekend.
Despite describing the red card as harsh, boss John Sheridan has decided not to appeal against the decision and Niven is suspended.
Sheridan will be hoping Ian Morris, Gregor Robertson and Dean Morgan are fit enough to be considered for a start.
Morris was omitted from the squad completely against Burton while Robertson and Morgan were both substitutes as they continued to step up their return from injuries.
Chesterfield last won at Aldershot in September 1965 and have lost 11 of their 15 league visits since.
Whitaker keeps Spireites on top

Aldershot were shell-shocked and three minutes later Whitaker coolly slotted into he far corner for his ninth of the season from Lester's lay-off.
