Match Preview
Duo back for Shots John Halls and Marvin Morgan return from suspension for Aldershot's FA Cup replay with Brentford. The duo have missed the last three games through suspension after recent red cards but return to bolster Kevin Dillon`s squad. Morgan remains the Shots` top scorer this season as the club have not won since his dismissal at Bury last month. Defender Anthony Charles is expected to recover from a slight hamstring strain and veteran winger Glen Little is also likely to start. Midfielder Manny Panther had stitches in a head cut suffered during Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Macclesfield but may be fit to play after coming off in the first half. On-loan Bristol City striker Marlon Jackson is available after the Robins gave him permission to feature in the Cup tie. Brentford have been hit by a defensive crisis. Boss Andy Scott is without both his first-choice centre-backs through suspension after Pim Balkestein was sent off against MK Dons on Saturday and Karleigh Osborne collected his fifth booking of the season. With David McCracken still sidelined with a calf injury, Leon Legge is the only recognised centre-half available so right-back Michael Spillane could be asked to fill in. Keeper Ben Hamer is ineligible under the terms of his loan from Reading so Richard Lee continues in goal with veteran Simon Royce added to the bench. Striker Carl Cort remains a long-term absentee with a torn Achilles.

Match Report
Big goal from Small Wade Small`s early goal was enough to help Aldershot upset League One Brentford 1-0 and book a trip to Dover in round two of the FA Cup. The former MK Dons and Chesterfield winger found the net in the eighth minute and despite Robbie Simpson hitting a post after the break the Shots were worthy winners. Aldershot had taken an early lead at Griffin Park and wasted little time in repeating the trick as Small raced onto Glen Little's through ball and fired beyond Richard Lee for his third goal of the season. The pace of Small and Jermaine McGlashan troubled Andy Scott's side for the remainder of the half and when the duo combined after half an hour, Aldershot's lead seemed certain to double but McGlashan's volley skewed wide. The Bees' only genuine chance of the first 45 minutes came through Charlie MacDonald but the 29-year-old's effort was firmly blocked by Aaron Morris. Scott had clearly got into his players during the interval and within three minutes top scorer Simpson might have restored parity but found the inside of post after MacDonald's cut-back. Myles Weston then flashed a shot wide of Jamie Young's goal as Brentford continued to fail to work the Aldershot keeper. Despite the introduction of Nicky Forster, Brentford's late pressure failed to yield an equaliser as Aldershot went through to book a date with Conference South outfit Dover.
