Herd back for Shots
Ben Herd returns to skipper Aldershot in their FA Cup tie at home to Rotherham.
The right-back has missed the Shots' last three games due to suspension but is now raring to lead out his side as the Recreation Ground hosts a third-round encounter for the first time in 25 years.
Danny Hylton was rested to the bench with a groin strain for the 1-0 New Year's Day win at Barnet but should be fit to compete for a starting berth.
And his return will be a welcome one with on-loan striker Dani Lopez again cup-tied having briefly featured in an earlier round for parent club Stevenage.
However, fellow loanees Danny Rose, Michael Hector and Sonny Bradley are all okay to feature.
Michael Rankine has this week returned from his loan stint at Blue Square Bet Premier leaders Grimsby and will hope to make manager Dean Holdsworth's matchday squad.
Rotherham could hand a debut to on-loan Liverpool striker Adam Morgan.
The highly-regarded 18-year-old joined the Millers on a youth loan on Thursday and will battle for a place with Alex Revell, Daniel Nardiello and Kayode Odejayi in attack.
Odejayi was given a lone role in the New Year's Day win over Rochdale, with Revell rested and Nardiello carrying a virus. Nardiello is now fit and Revell will be eyeing a recall, so it is likely that boss Steve Evans will have to change the shape of his side to accommodate Morgan.
Evans will have to make one change at left-back as Liam Ridehalgh is unavailable as part of his loan deal from Huddersfield, so Jack O'Connell could slot straight in or Mark Bradley could swap sides.
Lionel Ainsworth, David Noble and Dale Tonge are all fit again, but with none of them having played since well before Christmas, they are unlikely to be pushing for a start.
Goalkeeper Scott Shearer, who has been unable to regain his place in the side following a knee injury in the autumn, missed the win at Spotland after suffering a setback with his old problem, but he is expected to return to the squad.
The Millers, playing in the third round of the famous competition for the first time since 2005, will take confidence from their npower League Two victory earlier in the season when they won 3-0.M
