Rovers short on firepower
Albion strikers David Crawford (hamstring) and Chris Dallas (knee) have been ruled out of the home game against Stirling.
Mick Dunlop and Mark McGuigan are both struggling with knocks as manager James Ward is hoping his side keep their outside play-off chances alive.
Ward said: "If we win we move to within four points of Stirling and have some fresh hope of getting there.
"Stirling however, have the double incentive of winning and staying in a play-off place and killing off our challenge.
"We need to stay vigilant throughout as Stirling have a very good record of scoring late goals."
Stirling's former Albion defender Mick O'Byrne has shaken off a knock and will be included in manager Greig McDonald's squad along with the recalled Ross Forsyth.
McDonald said: "We have beaten Annan and Berwick Rangers in our last two games and I want us to add Albion Rovers to that list.
"We are still four to five points short of securing a play-off place and I would like them on board as soon as possible.
"We scored twice late on to turn a defeat from Berwick into a win, so we are going into this game in good heart."
