Injury problems for Rovers
Albion Rovers winger Chris Hamilton is a doubt for the visit of Elgin City, while midfielder Chris Boyle and striker Marc Pollock remain on the sidelines through injury.
Coatbridge boss Paul Martin has challenged his players to show they are serious about challenging for promotion by defeating the side that derailed their efforts last term.
"We go into this game on the back of a five-game unbeaten run and it is exactly the type of game we need three points from to show our fans we are serious about being involved at the end of the season," he said.
"We have momentum behind us but we cannot just turn up and expect to win, we will need to work hard."
David Niven and Jamie Duff will return to the ranks as Elgin head to Albion Rovers on the back of two consecutive victories.
The former has recovered from illness, while the latter has shaken off an injury in time to ensure he will travel alongside Mark Nicolson, who is free of suspension.
Zander Jack remains out with a broken hand, though, and Neil MacDonald is unlikely to feature after only just returning from his honeymoon.
"Having won our last two games, we do not need to be shy about going to Albion Rovers looking for a win," said manager Ross Jack. "They are going very well but we won there in April and aim to do it again."
Fine goals mark win
Albion Rovers extended their unbeaten run to six with a 3-1 victory over Elgin thanks in no small part to two fine goals from Paul McLeod and John Gemmell.
Rovers took the lead early on after Elgin defender Jamie Duff committed a foul in the box on McLeod after just six minutes. Anthony Stevenson stepped up to make no mistake from 12 yards.
Elgin showed spirit and found themselves an equaliser on 20 minutes, when Craig Frizzel's left-footed effort found the bottom corner from the edge of the box to give Ross Jack's men hope.
Albion regained the lead with half an hour left when McLeod picked up the ball on the edge of the area and fired into the top corner.
Ten minutes later Gemmell curled a right-footed shot past Scott Bain to seal the three points.
