Match Preview
Rovers missing Chaplin and Gemmell Albion boss Paul Martin is expected to be without midfielder Scott Chaplain and striker John Gemmell for the clash with Berwick. However, midfield duo Steve Canning and Chris Boyle are both expected to shake off minor knocks to play. Martin has told his men to be wary of the Borderers, saying: "If we are serious about mounting a real challenge then this is the type of game we should be winning, but it will not be easy. "Berwick started the season as the top side in this league and there are still enough games left for them to mount their own challenge. They will come here confident on the back of a late win over Montrose in midweek." Berwick are without top goalscorer Darren Gribben, who is suspended, and injured duo Elliot Smith and Fraser McLaren. Shielfield boss Jimmy Crease is confident he will have a trialist in his ranks, saying: "He used to be at a SPL club but I don`t want to say anymore in case it does not come off." Crease is expecting a tough game at Cliftonhill, adding: "We are travelling there boosted by our win over Montrose in midweek which ended a horrible run we were on but I know this will be a tough game. "Albion Rovers are always well organised and hard to break down but we will give it our best shot."

Match Report
O'Reilly sinks Albion Albion's promotion hopes took another hit after they suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat at home to Berwick. Craig O'Reilly's first-half strike decided the game, meaning it is now three matches without a win for the home side. The visitors took the lead when O'Reilly converted midfielder Ian Little's left-wing cross with a header from six yards. Albion's chanceswere not helped by losing both striker John Gemmell and midfielder Christopher Boyle to injury in the first half. Berwick nearly doubled their lead on the hour mark with O'Reilly again going close, but his shot from 25 yards was kept out by Albion goalkeeper Thomas Flynn. The home side struggled to create chances throughout and did not significantly test Berwick keeper Mark Peat.
