Match Preview

Dons debuts for Francomb and Bennett Deadline-day signings George Francomb and Dale Bennett will make their AFC Wimbledon debuts against Dagenham. Boss Terry Brown has signed Francomb from Norwich and Watford's Bennett on one-month loan deals to ease his defensive crisis. On-loan Yeovil left-back Curtis Haynes-Brown is out after suffering concussion against Bradford while captain and centre-half Mat Mitchel-King is unavailable as he is on compassionate leave. Right-back Curtis Osano remains on the sidelines with the ankle injury which has kept him out so far this season while centre-back Callum McNaughton is a long-term absentee as he recovers from a cruciate injury. Midfielder Rashid Yussuff is also out with a knock while striker Jason Prior is still recovering from the broken leg he suffered last season. John Still is expected to keep faith with an unchanged Dagenham and Redbridge side. Striker Sam Williams, fit again after lengthy knee trouble, made his first start for 10 months in last weekend's 2-1 loss at home to Gillingham and is set to continue in attack. The defeat leaves the Daggers still searching for their first win of the season but manager Still took plenty of positives from the setback. Midfielders Matt Saunders (ankle) and Kevin Maher (foot) continue to build up their fitness but are not yet ready for first-team action. Dominic Green is again likely to be named among the substitutes despite not being 100% fit having overcome a hernia problem, with the midfielder steadily building up his match fitness off the bench.
