Match Preview
Dons defender declared fit Mat Mitchel-King has been declared fit ahead of Wimbledon's clash with Bradford. The Dons defender was withdrawn at half-time in Saturday's 2-1 win over Dagenham complaining of blurred vision. Should Mitchel-King suffer any setback, Brett Johnson is expected to deputise as he did in that fixture. Fellow defender Pim Balkestein is set to retain his place after impressing on his debut against the Daggers following his loan move from Brentford. Winger Kieran Djilali will be pushing for a starting role after settling for a place on the bench on Saturday having overcome a hamstring injury. Jason Prior remains the only long-term absentee as he continues to recover from a knee injury. Saturday's victory was the Dons first in eight outings. Bradford pair Simon Ramsden and Michael Flynn will return to the squad for the midweek clash at AFC Wimbledon. Defender Ramsden, who has missed the last five games due to a hamstring injury, was close to returning for the weekend win over Oxford, but manager Phil Parkinson decided not to risk him. Midfielder Flynn has been troubled by illness and injury since Christmas, his latest groin injury sidelining him for the last fortnight. Bradford will also be boosted by the return of on-loan Oxford striker Deane Smalley, who was unable to play against his parent club on Saturday. But midfielder Ricky Ravenhill sits out the second of a two-game ban after reaching 10 yellow cards. Strikers Craig Fagan (hamstring) and James Hanson (groin) returned from injury to score City's goals on Saturday, with the latter now pushing for a place in the starting line-up.
