Match Preview
Loanee back for Dons Callum McNaughton returns to the AFC Wimbledon squad for the visit of Accrington. On-loan centre-half McNaughton was denied permission to play in last weekend's 3-1 FA Cup defeat at Bradford as parent club West Ham did not want him cup-tied. Boss Terry Brown was less than impressed with his side's defending at Valley Parade and is pondering further changes. Fit-again Gareth Gwillim (knee) could reclaim his place at left-back while there could also be a long-awaited debut for Mat Mitchel-King. The summer signing from Crewe has been sidelined by glandular fever, a shin injury and then a back problem but is finally fit and could at least be on the bench for the first time. Winger Kieran Djilali may return after a hamstring injury. Accrington will have attacking pair Jayden Stockley and Micah Evans available for the trip after loan extensions were thrashed out for the duo. Stockley and Evans signed month-long deals at the Crown Ground in November, from Bournemouth and Blackburn respectively, and Stanley have secured their services until the new year after reaching agreements with the players' respective parent clubs. Alan Burton is boss John Coleman's only new injury worry for the contest, with the defender ruled out for the foreseeable future following a double hernia operation. Ian Craney is back in light training only six weeks after suffering a broken leg, but the weekend game comes too soon for the midfielder, who is targeting a return for the Boxing Day clash at Morecambe. The Reds had a weekend out of action during the second round of the FA Cup, but face the Dons on an unbeaten run of four matches in the league.

Match Report
Stanley break away duck Padraig Amond bagged his third goal in two games to help fire Accrington to their first away win of the season over hapless AFC Wimbledon. The 23-year-old, on loan from Portuguese side FC Pacos de Ferreira, pounced after just three minutes before Craig Lindfield doubled the lead to hand Stanley a 2-0 triumph - their first win on the road this term in 10 attempts. Amond stunned Kingsmeadow with only three minutes gone, tapping in Bryan Hughes' low cross at the far post to follow on from his brace off the bench against Dagenham & Redbridge two weeks ago. And the Dons did not learn their lesson, conceding a carbon copy after 24 minutes as the unmarked Lindfield tucked home Dean Winnard's centre from close range. After the break Accrington were content to protect their lead but should have extended it - Dons goalkeeper Brown saving well from Jayden Stockley and Amond after a melee in the home area just before the hour. Substitute Brendan Kiernan finally brought the home faithful to life with a curling effort from the edge of the box on 87 minutes but Ian Dunbavin did well to save, leaving the Dons winless in eight.
