Ings on the verge of move Bournemouth may begin life without Danny Ings against Stevenage. The Cherries have accepted a bid from Burnley for the teenage striker and he is discussing personal terms with the club ahead of a potential move. Ings would follow former Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe to Lancashire. Manager Lee Bradbury will also be without midfielder Michael Symes as he is still struggling with a back injury but much-travelled striker Steve Lovell could make a return from his injury. Joe Partington will be sidelined until September with his hip problem. Youngsters Alex Parsons and Dan Strugnell won't be involved for the Cherries for three months after the club announced that they will both go on loan to Southern League club Wimborne Town. Stevenage will be without the suspended Michael Bostwick. Bostwick received two yellow cards and was subsequently sent off midway through the second half of the 1-1 draw at fellow League One newcomers Chesterfield on Saturday. He will serve a one-match ban. Summer signings Jennison Myrie-Williams and Robin Shroot could come into contention to replace the midfielder. Ahead of the trip to the south coast, Boro boss Graham Westley told the club's official website: "They are a play-off team in this division and beating Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 at the weekend shows where they are at. "But we like the big occasion and the big games, we will rise to it and we are looking forward to it."

Match Report
Borough clinch maiden League One win Stevenage registered their first victory in npower League One, 3-1 at Bournemouth after the home side had defender Adam Barrett sent off. Stevenage took the lead in the 43rd minute when Craig Reid beat the offside trap to convert a low right-footed shot. Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury sent on Harry Arter at the start of the second half in place of Steven Gregory and the move paid off within two minutes. Marc Pugh crossed from the left and Arter was unmarked to turn the ball home. The turning point of the match came in the 64th minute when Barrett handled a goalbound shot from Stacy Long on the line and was shown a red card. John Mousinho stepped up to score the subsequent penalty, sending goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan the wrong way. Stevenage goalkeeper Chris Day made an outstanding save to deny Arter a second equaliser in the 71st minute before the visitors made sure of their first victory in the first minute of injury time when striker Byron Harrison scored from 10 yards after Scott Laird had got down the left.
