Trio return for Cherries Bournemouth will have striker Michael Symes, midfielder Danny Hollands and full-back Warren Cummings back for the match with Rochdale at Dean Court. Symes has been out for almost two months with an abductor strain, but will be in the squad to take on Dale after resuming full training and his return is timely as the Cherries prepare for their play-off campaign. Hollands was suspended for the 2-2 draw with Hartlepool last weekend - the result which secured Lee Bradbury's side's top-six place. An ankle injury kept Cummings out of the Pools game, with Rhoys Wiggins returning from a buttock muscle injury to take his place, but now both are available it will be a straight fight between them for the starting spot. French defender Mathieu Baudry also missed out in the last match with a thigh injury and he is sidelined again, however he would be fit if required for the play-off games. Rochdale boss Keith Hill will hand opportunities to a number of fringe players. Hill has a full-strength squad at his disposal but will shuffle his pack and reward the patience of several players who have spent much of the campaign on the sidelines. Highly-rated defender Craig Dawson is set to make his final appearance for the club before he heads to West Brom this summer. Hill has nothing but praise for the centre-back and says he is an example for other young professionals in the game to follow. Hill said: "He will go down as one of the best young players in Rochdale's history and it's going to be some task to replace him."

Gray picks Cherries' pocket Rochdale teenager Reece Gray's maiden league goal earned his side a 2-1 win in a classic smash-and-grab raid at Bournemouth. The diminutive midfielder stepped off the substitutes' bench 10 minutes from the end to head Dale's 84th-minute winner from Nicky Adams' cross. Gray's winning goal came completely against the run of play - Dale goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams pulling off a string of fine saves as Bournemouth bombarded the visitors' goal. Bournemouth, who will host Huddersfield in the play-off first leg next Saturday, took the lead with the fifth of the 14 corners they forced, with central defender Jason Pearce capping a commanding performance by heading in Rhoys Wiggins' 27th-minute corner. Matt Done equalised for Rochdale with a 20-yard shot 10 minutes before half-time, but the visitors held on as Bournemouth piled on the pressure after the break. Twice Fon Williams made last ditch saves to deny Anton Robinson and then Adam Smith as Bournemouth pressed forward, only to be mugged by Gray's headed winner six minutes from time.
