Selection headache for Stanley boss Accrington manager John Coleman has selection issues ahead of Cheltenham's visit to the Fraser Eagle Stadium. Leam Richardson and Tom Smyth both impressed in their first starts of the season last week in the 1-1 draw with Hereford and are likely to retain their places in Stanley's starting line-up. Coleman has to decide whether he will recall goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin who started the first 12 games of the season or keep number two Alex Cisak between the sticks for Saturday's game. Accrington are still without four suspended players for the visit of Mark Yates' men. Ray Putterill completes his two-match ban while on-loan Kevin Long serves the second game of his three-match ban. The good news for Coleman is that Andrew Proctor and Jonathan Bateson serve the final game of their three-match suspensions and will be available for next week's game. Cheltenham manager Mark Yates must decide whether to throw returning centre-back Martin Riley back into the fold from the off. Riley, who last played first-team football nine weeks ago, enjoyed just over an hour for Town`s reserves in midweek and is desperate to get back into the swing of things. His return to full fitness could not have come at a better time with central defender Steve Elliott ruled out with a tight calf, and Yates must now make a decision on whether Riley is ready for his first start since August or whether to put his comeback on ice and instead reshuffle Town`s back line. Full-back Danny Andrew and midfielder Frankie Artus (both ankle) have recovered from the knocks they picked up in the goalless draw at home to Port Vale last weekend. Top scorer Wes Thomas (thigh) is expected to be back in full training in around a week`s time, with a view to returning to action in Cheltenham`s FA Cup clash against Morecambe on November 6. Captain Michael Pook is looking at around another three to four weeks on the sidelines with his calf injury.

Robins fly into top seven Cheltenham moved into the play-off places with a comfortable 4-2 win at Accrington. The Robins never really looked back after racing into into a two goal lead in the first 18 minutes. With only four minutes on the clock, Jeff Goulding split open the Stanley defence and threaded the ball through for Brian Smikle to slot in between keeper Alex Cisak's legs for his second goal of the season. Smikle could have had an early hat-trick, firing into the side netting and heading another just wide. However he was involved in the next goal in the 18th minute, flicking Scott Brown's goalkick into the path of Goulding who shot past Cisak. Out -of-sorts Stanley got one back on 51 minutes when Sean McConville played in a cross from the right and Terry Gornell poked the ball home from 10 yards for his fifth of the season. Then it was game on with Stanley piling on the pressure without seriously testing keeper Brown. However the Robins got that all-important third when they broke on 74 minutes, Smikle flicked the ball through for Goulding who again placed the ball past Cisak for his fifth goal of the campaign. And number four came six minutes later when a ball into the area found Goulding who knocked it down for Smikle to find winger Robin Shroot who fired home from 10 yards out. Two minutes from time, Stanley got a penalty when Martin Riley was adjudged to have brought down McConville and Phil Edwards tucked it home but it was too little too late for the Reds who have now gone four games without a victory.
