Match Preview
No McIntyre for Stanley Accrington boss John Coleman will be without defender Kevin McIntyre for the home clash with Bradford. Stanley's 2-1 home defeat to Southend on Saturday was made worse by a stoppage-time red card for McIntyre. The left-back was booked for two fouls on Anthony Grant - the first giving away an early penalty, the second trying to prevent a late counter. He now serves a one-match ban but summer signing Danny Coid is nursing groin and neck problems which have ruled him out of Stanley's opening three matches of the season. He is hoping to be in contention when Coleman's men host the Bantams, while Stanley defender Sean Hessey will be assessed after missing Saturday's defeat against Southend through injury. Bradford defender Steve Williams is unlikely to make his return from injury. Centre-half Williams suffered a recurrence of a thigh strain in the Carling Cup defeat at Leeds and missed Saturday's 1-1 draw at Oxford, but manager Peter Jackson is hoping midfielder Ritchie Jones can shake off the knock he sustained at the weekend. Jackson said: "It looks unlikely that Steve Williams will be fit for Tuesday. "I would say he's doubtful to play any part in that one. Ritchie Jones is not as bad as we thought though." Midfielder David Syers remains sidelined and is waiting for the results of a scan to determine the full extent of the damage caused to his medial knee ligaments at Leeds. Jackson has no other injury or suspension problems as his side chase their first win of the season.

Match Report
Fletcher arrows Accrington to win On-loan striker Wes Fletcher fired Accrington to their first win of the new campaign as Bradford were beaten 1-0. The Burnley man pounced on the ball from Andy Procter's header, got the better of defender Guy Branston and slid home past the onrushing Liverpool loan keeper Martin Hansen from the edge of the area after 78 minutes. He only signed on a six-month loan for the Reds this week but he was lively, grazing the crossbar with a cross and forcing a save out of Hansen. Substitute Craig Lindfield came close after the break for the home side while midfielder Luke Joyce had a fierce strike pushed out by Hansen before Fletcher struck. Peter Jackson's visitors broke a couple of times with Michael Flynn showing his pace on the right, but his perfect cross into the area could not be finished off. Jack Crompton also played some dangerous crosses into the box while striker James Hanson tried his luck from distance but City could not test Reds keeper Sean Murdoch.
