Wigan 0 Tottenham 3: Pavlyuchenko puts the icing on the cake for Harry Redknapp. Bentley's free-kick from the right finds Pavlyuchenko unmarked. His first header is saved, but he follows up to finish from a tight angle.
Figueroa takes Bentley down as the ball gets knocked past him and he goes into Alan Wiley's book.

Tottenham just trying to play out a spell of keep-ball now in the final minutes.
Modric releases Pavlyuchenko on the left, but he over-runs the ball and gets dispossessed on the edge of the Wigan area.
Wigan 0 Tottenham 2: Pavlyuchenko wraps up the points for Spurs. It was clever feet from Modric, he played in Pavlyuchenko who burst onto it and fired home left-footed past Kirkland from 12 yards.
Great chance again for Spurs. Bentley dribbles into the area. He squares it to Modric who curls one goalwards, but it hits Kirkland's left hand post and rebounds straight into his arms.
N'Zogbia drives forward to the edge of the area, plays it wide for Sinclair who cuts the ball back to the corner of the area for McCarthy. His first time cross is mis-hit straight at Gomes but he fumbles and Sinclair almost pounces on the rebound.
Great chance for Crouch and he should double Spurs' lead. Modric does well to drive forward and pick a pass for Crouch beyond the Wigan defence. Crouch gets one-on-one with Kirkland, tries to lift it past him left-footed but Kirkland makes the save.
Wigan substitution: Moreno is replaced by Sinclair.
McCarthy, having just been fouled by Huddlestone, lunges in on Bentley and earns himself a yellow card.
Huddlestone arrives late for another tackle on the half-way line. the referee wants another word with the Spurs midfielder and he'll need to be careful now in this last 15 minutes.
Tottenham substitution: Defoe comes off to be replaced by Pavlyuchenko.
Defoe gets forward down the left. He plays a diagonal ball low into the penalty area towards Crouch, but it's just too firm and Kirkland comes out well to claim.
Huddlestone pulls back N'Zogbia on the half-way line as the Wigan man attempts to break forward into the Spurs half. The referee played the advantage but as the ball goes out of play Alan Wiley produces a yellow card for the Spurs midfielder.
Half chance for Defoe as he turns on the edge of the Wigan penalty area. He shoots left-footed by his effort is straight at Kirkland.
Tottenham substitution: Krancjar comes off and is replaced by Modric.
McCarthy aims a long diagonal ball into the penalty area. Gomes comes out to punch clear and N'Zogbia gives away a foul on the edge of the area.
Half chance for Wigan. Moreno plays the ball to the right of the area for N'Zogbia. He attempts a left-foot curling effort for the far top corner, but it goes safely over.
Diame goes in late on Krancjar and brings the Spurs man down. It's a yellow card for the Wigan man.
The game has just got a little scrappy over the past few minutes, with neither side keeping good possession of the ball.
Defoe gets himself free on the right side of the area. He fires at goal right-footed, but Kirkland stands up well and makes the save.
Bentley tries to break forward into the Wigan half, but loses it looking for a free-kick. A poor pass from Diane under no pressure on the half-way line gives possession straight back to Spurs.
Good spell of pressure for Wigan. This time, Moreno gets space on the right side of the area, crosses low and it's turned behind for a corner.
N'Zogbia works space 25 yards from goal to find Moses on the left. He controls and shoots low from the edge of the area, but it's a weak effort and straight at Gomes.
Moses bursts forward down the left. He cuts inside but loses his footing and the attack breaks down.
Wigan substitution: Hendry Thomas departs and makes way for new signing Victor Moses.
Wigan try to force space for a cross on the right, but Krancjar does well to win possession and then earns his side a free-kick 6 yards from the touchline at the expense of Melchiot.
Tottenham substitution: King looks to have tweaked his knee in making a clearance a minute or so agao and he hobbles off to be replaced by Bassong.
Dawson clatters into the back of Rodallega on the half-way line and he receives a yellow card for his troubles.
Defoe drives into the Wigan penalty area on the left hand side. He cuts inside McCarthy but loses his footing. He looks towards the referee for a penalty, but Alan Wiley isn't interested.
N'Zogbia drives forward down the left. He beats Dawson and Palacios, but Corluka dispossesses him.
Corluka crosses deep from the right towards Crouch at the far post. Crouch heads it back across goal, but can only find a Wigan defender and the ball is cleared.
The corner is met by the head of Crouch, who heads goalwards from 12 yards, but it's a comfortable save for Kirkland down to his left.
Bentley does well to bring the ball down with his chest on the right. He drives forward trying to create some space for a cross, but Diame does well to deflect the ball away for a corner.
The visitors get the second half underway, looking to build on their first half lead.
The groundsmen are out with their forks trying to do their best with this pitch, but with the rain lashing down it looks like they're fighting a losing battle.
It's not been the most fluent game of passing football you're ever likely to see, but it's been a reasonably entertaining match, with a good tempo to it. Spurs have had the better of the play and arguably deserve their lead.

N'Zogbia takes on Bale and thinks he's earned his side a corner, but the decision is a goal-kick, much to the disapproval of the Wigan man.

After a brief pause in the action N'Zogbia takes, but Defoe has charged it down to quickly and is shown a yellow card.
N'Zogbia is brought down by Bale 35 yards and central. It's a free-kick to Wigan in a dangerous area.
Bentley mis-times his challenge on Figueroa as the Wigan man tries to surge forward and it's a yellow card for the Spurs wide man.
Wigan are starting to enjoy a bit more possession inside the Spurs half, but their latest move ends with a wayward effort from Diame.
Diame drives at goal and shoots from 25 yards. It deflects up off of King, but loops away for a Wigan corner.
A long free-kick is played into the Wigan area looking for Crouch. the big Tottenham man gets up well to head across goal, but he can't find a team mate and Wigan clear.
Corluka is brought down 18 yards from goal on the right and it's a free-kick to Spurs in a dangerous area. Bale takes left-footed but Moreno heads clear for a corner.
Wigaon 0 Tottenham 1: Defoe looks a mile offside as he turns home Bale's low left-foot cross from close range, but the flag stays down and Tottenham lead.
Bentley plays a good ball forward down the right channel for Defoe. He crosses right-footed, but the ball is cleared.
There's a skirmish on the half-way line between Caldwell and Defoe after the Spurs man flies on the Wigan defender. Alan Wiley has a brief word with both men, but no further action is required from the referee.
Good passing move from Wigan results in Rodallega finding space on the edge of the area. He has to take the shot on early and his toe poke effort is turned over well by Gomes.
McCarthy plays the ball beyond the Spurs defence for Rodallega, but the Wigan man has gone too early with his run and is just offside.
Bentley drives forward and shoots from the left hand side of the penalty area. It's deflected and flies harmlessly into the arms of Kirkland.
Moreno does well to chase a long ball down. He plays it off of Bale who tries to shepherd it out of play. It should be a Wigan corner but the decision is a goal-kick to the visitors.
Rodallega tries to break away down the Spurs right, but Dawson comes across well to dispossess him as he crosses into the Tottenham half.
Good spell of possession from Spurs end with Bentley flicking the ball up and volleying towards goal from 25 yards. It's a decent effort but doesn't have the power to trouble Kirkland.
Defoe plays a good looking ball out to the right for Bentley, but it's just too firm for Bentley and it goes out for a Wigan throw-in.
There are a lot of passes being under-hit with the pitch taking pace off the passes.
Foul on huddlestone by Thomas and Spurs are given a free-kick 35 yards out, right of centre.
N'Zogbia tries to break forward for Wigan, but Huddlestone does well to dispossess him.
Rodallega tries to take on Corluka and Bentley on the left, but he loses out and Spurs clear.
Free-kick to Wigan 35 yards out on the right. It played in left-footed by N'Zogbia, but it's well over-hit and misses everyone.
It's been a bit of a scrappy start from both sides, who look to be struggling to provide any flowing football on a very poor playing surface.

Wigan get this game underway on a really poor looking surface.
It looks like there will be a slight delay here as the referee has spotted a hole in the net at one end.
Wigan have a worse defensive record than 17 of the 19 other Premiership teams. With 49 goals conceded, only Burnley (50) and Hull (51) have conceded more.
Wigan, however, have far worse problems to worry about. TheyÂ’ve won just once in the last 11 and their last home win was back in November against Sunderland. They start the game just two points outside of the drop zone.
Spurs have found goals a little harder to come by since that afternoon and have scored just once in their last four away matches in the league.
Tottenham won the reverse fixture by an amazing 9-1 scoreline back in November and Roberto Martinez will be keen for his side to extract some revenge on todayÂ’s opponents and help his side gain some breathing space from the relegation zone.
Although Spurs have announced that winger Aaron Lennon will not require surgery on his groin injury, he will again miss out on this afternoonÂ’s game.
