The game has gone a little dead as the second half has worn on. City have taken their foot off the gas here and Burnley just don't have the quality to force the tempo.
City have certainly been nowhere near as dominant in this second half and they'll be a little disappointed they haven't added more to their goal tally as goal difference could yet play a crucial role in the deciding of the 4th Champions League spot.

Burnley 1 Manchester City 6: Fletcher grabs a consolation for Burnley. Elliott plays it forward for Fletcher who curls it in just under the bar from a tight angle.
Johnson chips the ball in, Adebayor flicks on and Jensen does well to get to it and he just keeps the ball in as he continues to slide with the ball on the skiddy surface.
Man City substitution: Nigel de Jong comes on in place of the injured Sylvinho.
Sylvinho has gone down just inside the centre circle and he'll require some treatment.
Bellamy comes forward down the left. He cuts into the area and crosses towards Adebayor but Mears gets to it first and clears.
Johnson plays a long ball forward for Bellamy. He finds Tevez, but Duff goes in well to dispossess the City man.
Tevez dances forward into the penalty area, but he can't work space to shoot and the ball gets played wide.
Cork's cross is headed clear as far as Eagles but his shot is charged down by Toure and the flag goes up against a Burnley striker.
Burnley 0 Manchester City 6: City force three corners in succession and finally force the ball home as Johnson's corner is headed beyond Jensen by Kompany.
Johnson tries to play it forward to Bellamy but Tevez gets in his way and he tries to shoot. The ball ends up with Onuoha who squares it for Adebayor and his shot is deflected away for a corner.
The ball is frequently starting to hold up on this playing surface, which is preventing any flowing football.
Angled shot on the volley from Nugent, but it goes well wide of the target. It has been a much more positive start, however, for the home side.

Burnley 0 Manchester City 5: Adebayor runs onto a through ball from the half-way line. He goes round Jensen and slots home for his second of the game.
Bellamy plays it inside for Tevez. He shifts the ball into space and fires against the post. So nearly a fifth goal for City.
It looks like Burnley are going to survive to the half without City increasing the score. They've done much better since the fourth goal.
Bellamy and Barry combine to get the Welshman into the area. Bellamy fires at goal instead of squaring and the ball flies across the ball and out of reach of the sliding Tevez.
Adebayor fires it across the goal, Vieira gets a toe to it guiding it towards goal and Jensen is forced into a save. Tevez looks to pounce but concedes a free-kick.
City break with Johnson. He shoots and the ball deflects off two Burnley defenders. It could go anywhere, but it ends up going behind for a City corner.
The corner comes in and finds Nugent. He heads goalwards from six yards and Given is forced into a decent save.
Free-kick to Burnley on the edge of the area, left of centre. Blake strikes it into the wall. The ball loops up and Given takes no chances in turning over for a corner.
Bellamy comes forward menacingly, but he treads on the ball and the attack breaks down.
Tevez moves into the penalty area. He shoots to Jensen's right but it goes wide of the upright.
Fletcher shoots from distance but it's well wide of the target.
Good possession from City inside the Burnley half. The visitors are playing this game like it's a training session now. Burnley can't get close to the ball.
Shot by Duff from the edge of the area, but it's a comfortable save for Given. It's been a decent couple of minutes for them though.
Eagles moves down the right. He tries to go past Sylvinho, but the City man gets a touch on it and it goes behind for a Burnley corner.
Eagles crosses into the penalty area. It ends up with Blake at the far side, who pulls it back for Alexander. He shoots from the edge of the area and it just drops over for a City goal-kick.
Tevez plays it forward for Adebayor, but it's not a good ball and it runs past Adebayor and through to Jensen.
The ball gets spread to Blake out on the left. He crosses, but Kompany heads clear.
Long ball forward by Blake, but he only finds Sylvinho who heads back comfortably to Given.
Burnley 0 Manchester City 4: Vieira grabs his first Premier League goal in five years. Johnson swings in the corner from the left and Vieira heads home unmarked from six yards.
Nedum Onuoha races forward. he squares to Adebayor, who controls on the penalty spot, but can't find space to get the shot away.
The game has settled down a bit since that incredible opening, but City are still dominating and Burnley will do well to keep this scoreline looking respectable.
Johnson creates half a yard on the right cutting in on his left. he fires across goal and Vieira almost gets a touch to turn home, but it flies away for a goal-kick.
Tevez plays the ball forward for Adebayor in a dangerous position, but Mears slides in and plays it out for a throw-in to City.
Adebayor goes round Jensen looking for another, but Duff makes a desperate challenge to deny the City striker and Burnley clear.
Blake twists and turns inside the area. He shoots at Given's goal, but hits the side netting and City have a goal-kick.
City break three-on-one and they reall should score, but Tevez opts to pass to Johnson and the chance gets wasted. Had he opted for Adebayor the other way they would have been in for a fourth.
What an awful start this has been for the home side. Three goals in as many minutes and this game is over already. The home side will need to get themselves a foot-hold in this game shortly or it could be an embarrassing score by the end.
Burnley 0 Manchester City 3: Adebayor shoots. Jensen should hold but can only parry and Tevez taps home. Burnley are in disarray and some home fans are heading for the exit already.
Burnley 0 Manchester City 2: Bellamy is put in on goal and he makes no mistake side footing beyond Jensen to double City's lead. Burnley are looking in all sorts of trouble.
Burnley 0 Manchester City 1: The corner comes in and falls to Adebayor. He shoots and the ball crashes into the back of the net for the opening goal.
First chance of the game and it falls to Johnson for City. Tevez flicks the ball on cleverly for Johnson. He shoots from the right. Jensen gets fingertip to it and the ball deflects away off the outside of the post for a corner.
Johnson shoots from distance, but it doesn't have any power to trouble Jensen and it's an easy save for the Burnley keeper.

City themselves have only kept one clean sheet in the last 10 league games on the road, however, they are unbeaten in the last four away trips.
Burnley have also not kept a clean sheet for 23 games in all competitions, since a 2-0 home win against Hull at the end of October 2009.
Burnley have not beaten City since 1974 and their only league win in 21 attempts is a 2-1 home win against West Ham.
In addition to the last match, the previous three between these sides also produced six goals.
City have won five of the last six games between the sides, with the most recent game between ending 3-3 earlier in the season.
Man City did give their Champions League chances a boost with a Tevez inspired victory over Wigan on Monday, but they'll feel that only another three points here will be good enough.
Burnley's home form was solid at the start of the season but that has deserted them as the season has worn on. Home form for the rest of the season could be crucial at both ends of the table with both Tottenham and Liverpool still to visit Turf Moor.
