Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe could hand new signing Adam Smith his debut when the Cherries take on Leicester.
The 22-year-old defender, who joined from Tottenham for an undisclosed fee earlier in the week, is in contention to play some part.
Charlie Daniels (thigh) looks set to miss out, while Ryan Fraser and Tokelo Rantie (both hamstring) and Eunan O'Kane (dead leg) are doubts.
Striker Josh O'Hanlon, signed from Longford Town in midweek, is available for selection but the teenager is unlikely to be picked for the first team at this stage.
Leicester manager Nigel Pearson is hopeful Ignasi Miquel and Chris Wood will be fit.
Centre-back Miquel has been struggling with a thigh strain while a tight hamstring has kept Wood out of the last two games. Both men resumed training on Thursday and will be assessed before Pearson decides which players will travel down to the south coast.
Miquel's potential return will ease concerns about a lack of defensive cover having lost Liam Moore to a broken rib and with Sean St Ledger's ongoing injury problems.
Marcin Wasilewski added to those worries on Tuesday night when he suffered a foot injury at Birmingham but the Poland international is expected to be fit for Saturday when Leicester look to extend their club-record winning streak to nine league matches.
