Marseille full-back Brice Dja Djedje has been ruled out for three weeks with a thigh injury.

The 25-year-old injured the quadriceps muscle in his left thigh during Sunday's 1-1 draw at Nice.

A club statement read: "Brice Dja Djedje had tests on Monday which confirmed the diagnosis of the medical staff at the Allianz Riviera and allowed us to establish how long the full-back will be unavailable.

"Brice Dja Djedje will be unable to return to the squad for three weeks, until the first or second week of March."

The Ivorian will therefore miss league games against St Etienne and Gazelec Ajaccio as well as both legs of the Europa League last-32 tie against Athletic Bilbao.

The Coupe de France quarter-final against minnows Granville on March 3 also seems an unlikely fixture in which to risk him, leaving Ligue 1 matches against Toulouse and Lorient on March 6 and 12 as his most probable return dates.

Dja Djedje has made 25 appearances this season, scoring in January's 2-0 win over Montpellier in the last 32 of the Coupe de France.
