Ayew brothers get Ghana call

Brothers Andre and Jordan Ayew were called into the Ghana squad by national coach Goran Stevanovic on Thursday for the Africa Cup of Nations which takes place in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon from January 21-February 12.

The Marseille duo are part of a 25-man squad which will be reduced to 23 for the tournament.

Missing from the squad are goalkeeper Richard Kingson and injured Chelsea star Michael Essien.

Ghana will train in South Africa from January 7-19 where they will play a friendly against the Kaizer Chiefs and a national selection.

Ghana are in Group D at the Africa Cup of Nations where they face Botswana, Guinea and Mali.
