Stags swoop for Bell

Mansfield Town boss Billy Dearden has snapped up midfielder Lee Bell as he continues his preparations for the new season.

The former Crewe Alexandra 23-year-old, who impressed during a recent trial at Field Mill, has penned a 12-month contract with the Stags.

Bell made 62 first-team appearances for Alex before spending the second half of last term with Conference outfit Burton Albion.

Meanwhile Rory Boulding, who made 11 appearances from the substitute's bench for Town last term, has inked a one-year deal with the club.
