Mansfield manager Peter Shirtliff has revealed a clean bill of health among his squad as they look to extend their five-match unbeaten run at Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

Left-back Alan Sheehan suffered a foot injury during Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory over Grimsby Town, but has been back in training towards the end of the week and looks set to retain his place.

Elsewhere, keeper Carl Muggleton, defender Jon Hjelde and striker Richie Barker should return after the trio were rested in midweek.

"It is a nice problem to have," Shirtliff told the club's official website. "The lads are fit and in good spirits and we are looking forward to Saturday.

"It is still early though and I am not making any predictions about the season.

"We will keep chipping away and working at it."
