Mansfield Town boss Peter Shirtliff insists he is happy at Field Mill, despite being linked with the vacant managerial position at Sheffield Wednesday.
Shirtliff spent 13 years as a player at Hillsborough and is the latest in a long line of possible candidates who have been linked with the job since Paul Sturrock was axed late last week.
He told the Mansfield Chad: "It is nice to be mentioned for the Wednesday job - I must be doing something right if that's the case.
"I spent 13 years of my professional life there which was a big chunk of my life. I still love the place.
"But I've a job to do here and I hope I'm doing okay so people recognise that. We will just have to wait and see what happens."
