Mansfield Town boss Peter Shirtliff insists he has had no offers for in-form striker Richie Barker.
The 31-year-old, who has scored 44 goals in 97 appearances for the Stags since his transfer from Rotherham United two years ago, has been linked with a move to Hartlepool United.
However, Shirtliff told the Mansfield Chad: "It's part and parcel of football when you're playing well that other clubs will be linked with you.
"There have been enquiries from different clubs for a few of our players, but Richie is a Mansfield Town player and that's as far as it goes.
"Players cannot be sold until the January transfer window in any case.
"Richie is my captain and top scorer and is also among the division's top scorers. He's playing well, and if he wasn't there wouldn't be any of this speculation.
"Personally, I've not had any firm offers for Richie."
