Mansfield Town chairman James Derry has concluded a takeover of the struggling League Two club.
The Stags are currently bottom of the Football League following a disastrous start to the season, but Derry, who is the head of a consortium, has agreed a deal to buy the club from Keith Haslam.
Controversial managing director Haslam will lease the Field Mill ground back to the club.
"I'm delighted a deal has been concluded," Derry told the club's official website.
"I urge all supporters, businesses and everyone in the community to support us wholeheartedly now as we enter a new era for Mansfield Town Football Club.
"Once the contracts have finally been completed I'll be meeting with local business groups and supporters' groups to discuss the way forward."
