Mansfield Town defender Alex John-Baptiste has handed in a transfer request in the wake of the club's relegation from League Two.
The 22-year-old has made more than 200 first-team appearances for the Stags after coming through the Field Mill youth team ranks, but now thinks it is time to start a new chapter in his career.
A statement on the club's official website read: "We have received a written transfer request from Alex John-Baptiste.
"After careful consideration, we have very reluctantly agreed to this request and as a consequence offers are now invited."
