Mansfield Town have been boosted by the news that Michael Boulding could be back soon than expected from a knee injury.
Having returned to training earlier in the week, the 30-year-old forward had progressed well and Stags boss Peter Shirtliff is hopeful that he can play some part in the weekend fixture at Boston.
"He returned to training on Tuesday morning and is looking fit and sharp," Shirtliff told the club's official website.
"Hopefully everything is okay and he will train again and see how he gets on, but I am hopeful he may play some part on Saturday."
Meanwhile, long-term absentee Simon Brown is also making good progress and should be back in training in the coming weeks.
