Murray was first loaned out to Rainworth, then recently to Worksop Town, as a rumoured bust up with Cox threatened to de-rail the Stags fine start to their return to the football league.
Murray was a key factor in the Stags gaining promotion from the conference last season, and the fact he was set as Assistant to Paul Cox, made the decision for him to be loaned out, all the more strange.
Now, with Mickey Moore teaming up alongside Cox again in the dug out, it looks a deal has been done for Murray to return as well, and more than likely straight back into a midfield that look devoid of ideas in the home loss to Morecome at the weekend.
It was the Stags 10th league game without a victory and led to some supporters calling for the head of the manager.
