Blair Adams' return to Notts County means change for Mansfield boss Adam Murray

The conclusion of Blair Adams' loan spell means Mansfield manager Adam Murray will be forced into at least one change for the visit of Luton.

Adams is back at parent club Notts County and the Stags' Sky Bet League Two neighbours have said he will not be going back out on loan, with recently-appointed boss Jamie Fullarton having been impressed by the full-back in training this week.

Mal Benning is nearing his long-awaited return from the knee injury which has sidelined him since October and, despite being back in training, this weekend may be too soon for him.

Striker Adi Yussuf is still out with a groin problem as Mansfield look to get their play-off challenge back on track after only one win in the last six matches.

Luton manager Nathan Jones says he will assess the fitness of Mark Tyler, Danny Green and Ryan Hall on Friday night before he makes a final decision on his team.

The trio were all substituted due to injury in their game against Cambridge last weekend, with goalkeeper Tyler being taken off after just eight minutes suffering from a back spasm.

Winger Green was carried off on a stretcher with an ankle injury before half time and midfielder Hall was substituted because of a foot injury.

Luke Guttridge is no longer available after the 33-year-old had his contract cancelled by mutual consent earlier this week.
