Mansfield manager could bring back trio for Grimsby game
Mansfield boss Adam Murray hopes to have a number of players back available after injury for Saturday's home clash against Grimsby.
Chris Clements and Jack Thomas are both in line for a first-team return while Krystian Pearce will have a late test on the ankle problem he picked up against Hartlepool.
On-loan defender Kyle Howkins is expected to return within the next fortnight after a hamstring problem.
Injured centre-back George Taft has been ruled out for up to six weeks because of his own hamstring injury.
Grimsby travel with a fully-fit squad to choose from.
Dan Jones, Rhys Browne and Sean McAllister have all been cleared for a return to duty and Paul Hurst must decide whether to draft them in.
As well as the fit-again trio, winger Tom Bolarinwa is angling for a promotion from the bench.
He impressed in a cameo against Crewe last time out.
