Manchester United are reported to have made a £29m bid for Holland and Inter Milan star Wesley Sneijder. Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has admitted the Reds' interest, but was giving little away in his response to the move. "I believe the offer is real," he said. "But I have not even wanted to ask too much about it in order not to be tempted." Sneijder, 26, is under contract at treble winners Inter until 2013, but would make an ideal replacement for veteran Paul Scholes.
