Portugal winger Nani has moved closer to a summer switch to Manchester United after admitting he'd love to come to the Premier League.
United have been joined by Tottenham Hotspur in the hunt to land the highly-rated 20-year-old, who currently plays for Cristiano Ronaldo's former club Sporting Lisbon.
Nani has recently turned down the offer a new contract to remain at Sporting leading to speculation that the Portuguese club will look to cash in on their £10million-rated asset during the summer.
"Sporting know my opinion about this subject. If an offer arrives which offers a good opportunity then I want to talk about it," he told the Daily Mirror.
"Going to England is one of my options because the Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world and it will be a big challenge.
"But I have not spoken or made up my mind about any one club. I am prepared to go to England because I believe I would progress there."
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson paid Sporting £12.25million to land Ronaldo after being impressed by the tricky winger during a pre-season friendly in 2003.
