United sustain Nani setback

Manchester United's Portugal winger Nani is set to miss the start of the new Premier League season after suffering a dislocated shoulder in the Community Shield. The 22-year-old opened the scoring against Chelsea at Wembley, but was forced off just past the hour mark, leaving the field with his left shoulder still out of joint. United manager Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed after the game: "He's out for a while. "We could not put the shoulder back in, so that is the worrying part for us. He had done very well and we were very pleased with his performance." Nani joined United in the summer of 2007 from Sporting Lisbon and has scored 11 goals in 73 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions.
