Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted that he is still keen to try and sign Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves.
United were thwarted in their summer pursuit of the England international, before Hargreaves suffered a broken leg in September.
However, as the 25-year-old continues his recovery, Ferguson commented: "There is no update because we haven't spoken to Bayern Munich again, but we are still interested."
Meanwhile, Ferguson has confirmed that Paul Scholes is still being troubled by an eye problem that cut short his campaign last season.
He told The Sun: "There is a slight haziness in the central part of one eye. We have worked on the situation to try to minimise it.
"I think there is no problem with the actual vision in terms of being able to play football."
