Several senior squad members were on duty in the United reserves side which defeated Everton 2-0 to strengthen their position at the top of the Premier Reserve League on Thursday night. The Reds, for whom Anderson started, could have had a hatful of goals in the first-half before they opened the scoring through Mame Biram Diouf (44) with Cameron Stewart adding the second (45).
